The family's garden plot was expanded and established to be one of the best in the area, growing a large variety of the highest quality plants. A gardening club was established at the LeGacy home to help area families learn to grow their own plants. The LeGacy home became famous for gatherings of all ages. Kids Klub, Teen Beat, Growers Anon all gathered on a regular basis along with the regular meetings of long established clubs like Upper Crust, PowerHouse, and Spin Masters. A travelling tutor, Jasmine Holiday spent some time in Willow Creek teaching the children of the household some extra skills and training. Elishia excelled in rocket science, quickly learning enough to install a worm hole generator on the family rocket. This generator allowed her to travel to Sixam, where she met Rocky Boyer.

Inspired by Elishia and Rocky, Joaquin and Demi renewed their wedding vows at the same ceremony. Their celebration led to another pregnancy for Demi. Knowing that Joaquin was nearing the end of his days, they hoped that he would live to hold his child.

As it happened, as Demi went into labour, Joaquin arrived home from work only to collapse on the sidewalk in front of the family home. The Reaper arrived to collect Joaquin's soul as Ella pleaded with him to allow for the chance for Joaquin to hold his child. This wish was granted!

Of all the children, I believe Edwin has been most affected by the frequent appearance of the Grim Reaper. His lifetime wish is for a "big happy family" and his facial expression, especially his eyes just have that deer in the headlight appearance all the time.
All five of Demi's and Joaquin's children eventually married producing a total of seven grandchildren for Demi at this point in time.
